We had Fantastic Walk yesterday From Karmi Village to St.Hilarion Castle, in North Cyprus, our Walkers enjoyed themselves so much. We drove to Karmi Village and we parked our Car Karmi village Church car park, and we walked around the Karmi Village, what a beatiful village is, I can say the best village in the world! Clean and well looked after everywhere was flower, and the old houses was very interesting. After our walk in the Karmi village we hit to St.Hilarion Castle, from Land, Once we claim on to mountains, we arrived hidden Valley, we walked through the Valley, and arrived to St.Hilarion Castle View was magnificent.

After we arrived St.Hilarion castle, we stopped St.Hilarion Cafe and had some fresh home made Lemonade, and visited St.Hilarion Castle and we walk towards to Lapta, from St.Hilarion Castle, After 45 Minutes walks we found Blue route and We started to go down from Mountains to Karmi, our Total walks was 3 hours and 45 minutes, however it was worth it! We seen Wild orchids, Island Tea, Mandrake, and more Wild flowers and plants. Watch us for Next walks.

Walking holiday in North Cyprus.

We had great walk in North Cyprus Today, we have started from Karsiyaka (old Name Vasilia ) to Sinai Monastery, and we have seen lots of wild Flowers and wild orchids. We have seen one of the most important Endemic plant Mandrake, is narcotic plant. Walked in the Village meet with the Locals.
The view was superb. Walk in the Village was another experience, we seen the old people sitting in coffee shop and play games, and chat. It’s typical Cypriot Village. After our Walks.

We have stopped for our Lunch at Kozan Restaurant Karsiyaka Mountains and we tasted Delicious Mezes, such as Humus (Made from Sesame oil Tahin, and Chick Peas, and Lemon. Cacik (Made from yoghurt) and Grilled Hallomi Kebab, and Kleftigo Kebab with Potatoes.

Kleftigo Kebab is: Lamb cooked in Clay oven between 4-5 hours with Local Potatoes. And after that we had our Turkish Coffees, and homemade sweets, and We drove to Tebeasi Village west of Kyrenia for our second part of Walking, we walk around 1 hour and seen Wild Tulips. (Tulipa Cypria) and Bee orchids, Garlic flower, and Wheat Flowers, the Tulips was magnificent. After our Tulip Walk we drove to Akdeniz Area, and Walked another one hour on beach walk, And return to our Hotel. It was great Day.

North Cyprus is great Destination for walking holidays, Especially March – April time best for Walking, there is lots of wild flowers and Wild orchids in the mountains.

Tomorrow we are going to walk to St.Hilarion Castle, from West of Kyrenia. Follow us!
