Walking holiday in North Cyprus.
We had great walk in North Cyprus Today, we have started from Karsiyaka (old Name Vasilia ) to Sinai Monastery, and we have seen lots of wild Flowers and wild orchids. We have seen one of the most important Endemic plant Mandrake, is narcotic plant. Walked in the Village meet with the Locals.
The view was superb. Walk in the Village was another experience, we seen the old people sitting in coffee shop and play games, and chat. It’s typical Cypriot Village. After our Walks.

We have stopped for our Lunch at Kozan Restaurant Karsiyaka Mountains and we tasted Delicious Mezes, such as Humus (Made from Sesame oil Tahin, and Chick Peas, and Lemon. Cacik (Made from yoghurt) and Grilled Hallomi Kebab, and Kleftigo Kebab with Potatoes.
Kleftigo Kebab is: Lamb cooked in Clay oven between 4-5 hours with Local Potatoes. And after that we had our Turkish Coffees, and homemade sweets, and We drove to Tebeasi Village west of Kyrenia for our second part of Walking, we walk around 1 hour and seen Wild Tulips. (Tulipa Cypria) and Bee orchids, Garlic flower, and Wheat Flowers, the Tulips was magnificent. After our Tulip Walk we drove to Akdeniz Area, and Walked another one hour on beach walk, And return to our Hotel. It was great Day.
North Cyprus is great Destination for walking holidays, Especially March – April time best for Walking, there is lots of wild flowers and Wild orchids in the mountains.
Tomorrow we are going to walk to St.Hilarion Castle, from West of Kyrenia. Follow us!
